Hug
I need a hug today. I want someone to hug me tight and say everything will be alright.

Sometimes like ordering Gini from a bottle, we wish to command for immediate gratification of a feeling. Well, whether we get it or not is irrespective.
The feeling stays with us till either we fulfil it or grow over it after some time.
HUGS are important: Why so?
Hugging has a relaxing and soothing effect on people. The skin being the largest organ in our body. Sensitive to external stimulation, we can calm ourselves and increase our sense of well-being through the power of hugging and self-hugging.
Many benefits of Hugging
Hugs Reduce Stress and Increase Happiness:
Hugs lower cortisol, which is sometimes called “the stress hormone,” in our body. Hugs even lower blood pressure and heart rate. At the same time, a wonderful hug with a family member or friend will also bolster the level of neurotransmitters such as dopamine in your system. Dopamine is the happiness hormone of our body.
Nurturing touch during the early years helps our younger selves regulate emotions. With high levels of loving hugs and physical contact, babies and toddlers develop in a healthy manner.
Hugs Increase Well-Being:
Being hugged uplifts our mood. If you are feeling isolated or are going through a rough time, a hug releases endorphins which are the body’s natural pain relievers. These neurotransmitters increase our feelings of pleasure.
Hugs Boost Immune Response
Lower susceptibility to infectious disease, by increasing our sense of social support and lower stress.
Finally Self-Hugging
We don’t always get someone to hug us instantly when we want it, but we can always choose to hug ourselves. Softly massage your temples, place your hand over your heart and gently massage your heart.
By Self-hugging and self-soothing we give ourselves two other great gifts: self-love and self-compassion.

Get hugged or hug yourself today, it’s worth it.
