Poetry to sooth your nerves
In the hustle and bustle of the corporate race, Where coffee mugs clink and keyboards embrace, A day unfolds in the realm of the office, A microcosm of dreams, where we find solace.
The morning sun peeks through the glass, As sleepy eyes open, dreams fading fast, The scent of paper and ink fills the air, A symphony of ringing phones, people in despair.
In suits and ties, we march in a line, With ambitions and hopes, intertwine, A maze of cubicles, a labyrinth of space, We chase deadlines, embracing the workplace.
The printer hums, a steady beat, Fax machines sing, a melody sweet, Conference rooms echo with voices profound, Ideas and strategies, creating the ground.
Meetings commence, discussions arise, Eager minds searching for a corporate prize, PowerPoint presentations, graphs and charts, Illuminating screens, where knowledge imparts.
In the lunch hour, we gather to feast, Sharing stories, laughter, and a moment of peace, Brief respite from spreadsheets and reports, Nourishing the spirit, a harmonious consort.
As the afternoon dawns, fatigue sets in, But determination persists, despite the din, The clock ticks on, an ever-present reminder, Of deadlines approaching, a relentless divider.
Emails flood in, an unending tide, Inboxes overflow, impossible to hide, But amidst the chaos, connections ignite, Colleagues become friends, in the office’s light.
And as the evening descends like a shroud, We pack our bags, leaving the office proud, For within those walls, we’ve grown and learned, United by goals, in success, we’ve yearned.
Though the day may have passed, fleeting and fast, The memories we’ve made, they forever last, For in the rhythm of the office’s embrace, We find purpose, belonging, and a sense of grace.
